3/17/07 Lake Natoma
Nicole, Nick and I went out on a beautul Friday afternoon. There were no other fishing boats out, just some kayakers and bank fishermen. Nicole and I drankPunch and we all ate sunflower seeds while trolling with large Rebel Fatsracs. We fished til dark without a bite. Apparently we were a little late because Ranger Rick pulled up next to me in the parking lot. We loaded up and left. Skunked again!
3/18/07 Jenkinson Lake, a.k.a Sly Park
I picked up John at 5am and we headed out in search of macks. We were the first boat
out at 6:30. We started out with diving plugs down to 15 ft around the marina and island.
We dragged plugs all day in 20-30 ft of water without a fish. John had a bite but nothing
major. We eventually saw about 8-10 boats out, and nobody got squat! We took out just
before 11am and called it a day.
